Not too bad in my neck of the woods - 8am.  

Woo-hooo -- Sid the Kid did it again (amongst others)!!  I'll bet he'll be coming back to a frenzied welcome here in Nova Scotia.

Also, I must mention the women's team the other day.  That game was classic, high-stakes, top notch, nail-biting hockey, and they deserved that gold perhaps even more than the men.  Way to go ladies!

Excuses excuses valve. The reffing is part of the game.

What, you don't remember Salt Lake where they called like 8 penalties in a row against our girls and they still won?!

Sure I'd have been miffed if that one slashing call had gone against Canada all right but one penalty call does not a game make.

The Canadian girls get full credit, naw let's even say the proverbial 110%(!), for their win over the U.S. coming back from two goals down to tie with less than 4 minutes left... an epic game for the ages!!!

To call 2 penalties in OV with the stakes so high is just wrong. The trip was accidental and Wiki could have been called just as well for a dive. If you watched the speed skating, multiple skaters on the curves experienced the same thing, skate on skate causing trips.
