Well, first off are you ready for a 10-15% bigger headache? If you answered "yes", then open an account with CP. Note that the discount applies only to select services (Xpresspost, Expedited, etc) and you must use CP's ESTs (Electronic Shipping Tools) and pay with a credit card. Discount is typically less than 10% from my experience and CP has a nasty habit of later tacking on a surcharge (supposedly from packages that were not properly cubed but this is BS as I do enter the dimensions correctly. I'd argue the point but it's not worth the extra migraine for $0.23) which makes the discount moot since they are the ones screwing up the dimensions. As an added bonus, CP will have third parties like Dunn & Bradstreet call and harrass you about your business and such (got another one yesterday from some other marketing firm representing CP with a survey).
You're better off just getting the V1 card - it'll save you 5% on the same service types with a lot less headache.
