Hello guys
Last before 2 weeks I listed 2-3 items on ebay and I was qualified for paypal buyer protection the 3 items were sold this week I listed 12 items and i was not qualified for buyer protction so i contacted ebay powerseller support and after explaining the situation they responded:
If you have since qualified for PayPal Buyer Protection since originally
listing your items the proctection logo does not update onto current
listings. However, should you list any new items for sale and you
qualify for PayPal Buyer Protection the logo should appear. This is due
to the fact that when listing an item for sale the system checks the
elgibility of your account for PayPal Buyer Protection.
Now I contact paypal resolution center to know if they can help me with this problem so the agent send a message to my e-mail address here are the details:
Thank you for contacting PayPal.

When buyers see the PayPal Buyer Protection icon on eBay listings, they'll

covered up to $1000 USD at no additional cost.

With your outstanding reputation and feedback on eBay, you may be eligible
to have PayPal Buyer Protection offered on your listings. To see if your
country is eligible for PayPal Buyer Protection, simply click on 'User
Agreement' located at the bottom of any PayPal webpage.

To check your eligibility to offer PayPal Buyer Protection:

1. Log in to your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com/
2. Click the Profile subtab on the Account Overview page.
3. Click the 'Seller Eligibility for PayPal Buyer Protection' link.

Please Note: eBay makes the ultimate decision to qualify a seller for this
protection. Even if the 'Seller Eligibility' page says the eBay seller is
qualified, eBay has the final decision. Seller eligibility is determined at
time of listing on eBay and eligibility requirements may vary based on eBay
listing site.

The key benefits for sellers:

· Builds trust in the marketplace

· Rewards sellers with high feedback ratings and Verified PayPal
accounts

· Easy for buyers to identify eligible sellers - PayPal Buyer
Protection icon communicates seller's participation

· Encourages more buying on eBay

Hello everybody

PayPal - They didn't really respond because they don't ever actually read your emails

PayPal - Buyer Protection, I don't think it has even a 1% effect on bidders

It's possible to opt out of PayPal's Buyer Protection plan/scam, perhaps you changed your settings? (either with PayPal or in My Ebay.

And oh yeah, PayPal's "Seller's Protection" is even more of a bad joke.
