Sales of comics, coins or cards from Canada to the US, which taxes need to be applied? if any? Anyone come across this before themselves?

First, do not attempt to charge any taxes until you are registered with the appropriate governments.

And basically, there are no taxes charged or remitted on exports.

However, if you are buying for resale, your profits are taxable as part of your income, so keep records of what you buy and sell, including sales taxes and duty on your imported purchases.

Further, if you are registered to remit GST, there are export tax credits available.

So you might even come out ahead on taxes.
