I know there has been posts recently about tough sales in the past couple of months but my last sale was on the 26th of June. For me, this time of the year are generally slow but never like this. Starting to get a little frustrating.
I have ebays billing that I will have to pay shortly for June's activity. Where usually it is taken from my Pay Pal account, I will have to use my bank account, since my Pay Pal account is dryer than a mummy's butt.
If this has anything to do with Ebays password fiasco, then its going to be one tough summer.
I dont know how the rest of you are doing, and I hope well. If you are in the same boat as I am then I hope Ebay has taken some notice with some kind of plan to increase buyer confidence.

I am in similar boat... Made a sale July 2, but from a returning customer. The previous sale was also from a returning customer. Last time a new buyer purchased something from me was June 21st. Sales are in slow motion... 😞
Don't get me wrong though... I LOVE the fact that I have regular customers who will come back from time to time. And they are ALL fantastic to deal with! But it is also great to know a new person is seing - and purchasing - my items.

I notice that all but 3 of your listings are hockey. Sports fans are most likely concentrating on other sports that are being played right now like the world cup for example. Right about now is when we get most of our Oceania sales for ski / snowboard stuff since ski season is happening there now. Nobody here buys winter sport stuff in June / July.

You would be surprised how many sales I get for hockey jerseys during the summer. Sales do go down during these month, but I too have never had months like this. Ever

I agree this has been a very unusual couple of months - not attributable to the usual seasonal fluctuations for me, since early summer is normally a very busy time for the items I sell (and they have no connection with sports).
I had an entire 30-day period without a sale, which is unprecedented since I've been selling on eBay. I think the only reason I've made a few minor sales is that I went on a listing blitz during the last promotion. Out of dozens of items listed, only one sold (for $5.99).
I will hang on, hoping things will bounce back over the next few weeks, but this has been more worrisome than the occasional short dry spells of previous years. Fortunately I have other irons in the fire, but I'm not even covering my eBay fees with sales here at the moment.

Hockey is a ...No Go
Canadian football has started
Baseball is ongoing
And... It has been a month of World Cup Soccer in Brazil
When Germany beats Brazil 7 to 1... in Brazil... You know it is a BIG stink.for the home team to lose so BIG
Soccer is a worldwide attraction
Many decades ago.. Hockey was a good sport to watch
Then came children... and hackey was the last thing they were going to play.... parents agreed
Started with soccer for all three... two migrated to gymnastics....
and yours truly coached soccer for close to eight years.... up to age 15 for the oldest child
Hockey lost its energy for this eBay seller.......
and today the biggest problem is the fighting...in hockey
Put that fighting scene into soccer... and it just does not occur...
The most recent suspension for the wrong thing in soccer.... 15 years... Yes. 15 years
