How can I issue a second invoice after the PayPal link in my invoice is directed to the wrong PayPal account and cancelled by the buyer?

I recently closed two auctions and invoiced the winning bidders using the "send invoice" link.
The first buyer's checkout was completed and the funds were transferred to my paypal account.
The second buyer used the checkout in the invoice and was linked to a PayPal account that is invalid. Here it was listed as unclaimed and she cancelled the transaction.
How can I send a second invoice for this purchase that will hopefully not have the same issue? She is correctly concerned about payment without using the checkout process.
I can find nothing in my ebay or paypal accounts suggesting where the error is. I do not have multiple emails on my paypal account.
Does anyone have suggestions about how I can re-invoice or how I can collect the funds without losing the buyer's confidence?

You can't. The sell your item form stores email addresses and must be updated manually after an email change. Somehow the old was used.
If buyer is concerned about Protection would have to cancel the sale..
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/cancel-transaction-process.html
Set up a Buy it Now for the amount of sale. Use the buyer's ID as title and send the # to buyer. Preview that email address before posting.
Explain all to buyer including to accept the cancellation when eBay asks.
