I've returned a jacket I bought on Ebay. I sent it by priority post, the package was delivered and signed for on January 20th.
Its now the 26th and I still havent received my refund yet.
When can I expect to see my refund?? Shouldnt I have been refunded by now??

It takes about 30 seconds.
Go to the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page and open a Dispute.
You have already been in touch with the seller, right? He told you he would accept the return before you shipped it?
If so, skip the first step which is Contact Seller.
If not, contact the seller and ask what is happening.
If you did contact the seller, escalate to a Claim and give the Delivery Confirmation number.
If the seller does not refund promptly, eBay/Paypal will, and go after him for their money.
BUT
If you back your Paypal account with a credit card, check that the refund was not creditted to the card, before going to Resolution.

Hello 'dynamincompany',
<<Shouldnt I have been refunded by now??>>
Yes. As 'femmefan' says, it takes only a few seconds to refund.
You do not say when you bought it or if you contacted the seller to inform her of the return, nor what, if anything, was her
response.
No matter. Get that claim underway if you have not done so already. If it has been more than 30 days it is too late to file an
ebay claim. Paypal, however, permits 180 days. You pick.
If you paid from a paypal account (paypal balance or e-cheque from your bank account) the money will be refunded to your
paypal account. Check your paypal account to see if the transaction has been refunded.
If you paid from a credit card the money goes back on to the card. You can always call the 1-800 number on the back of the
card to hear recent transactions to the account.
Either way, you will get a paypal refund notice in your regular email from service@intl.paypal announcing Refund from . . .
This you get right away, no more than a minute or two after the seller clicks the Refund link.
Additionally, in you Purchase History the dollar sign icon for payment will have a little reverse arrow on it.
Has any of these things occurred?

According to my return details the seller has 6 days, which means he has till 28th of January:

I did contact the seller last week and he said it was OK to return the item.
The tracking number is em065560525ca
He already signed for the package under his name when it arrived in California.

Hello again, 'dynamin...',
That top link didn't work for me, probably because it is not my return.
I don't mean to pick nits, but you still haven't clarified if you contacted the seller or not. Did you contact the seller
about your intention to return the jacket?
Did you contact the seller to gently remind him that as he clearly has the item back, you would like to be refunded?
What was the reason for the return? In an ebay claim, if you return for the Significantly Not as Described, such as you
received a red one when you ordered a blue one, or you received a size small when you ordered size XL, that is a
seller error and the seller can be required to pay return postage as well as your item price + original shipping.
If the jacket simply didn't fit or you didn't like the way it looked on you, you will be required to pay your own return shipping
costs but ebay will refund the item price + original shipping fee.
Can you clarify a bit on that?

Yeah, sorry for not clarifying. I contacted the seller, he said it was OK for me to return the jacket.
I have saved that email by the way.
The reason for the return was he the seller didnt list the proper size.
He had it listed at size 4, when it really was a size 3. The jacket didnt fit, it was way too tight.
See links below:
This was the jacket I bought:
Listed as size 4:
Actual size was a 3:

Thanks, 'dynamin', for adding all that. The seller knew the jacket was coming back and signed for it 6 days ago,
you should have been refunded by now.
On an amount that large I, too, would be getting annoyed.
Did you add the photos showing the '3' tag to the claim? According to ebay's Money Back Guarantee pages the seller
should have fixed the problem in 3 days. We constantly see 3 days as sufficient time for a seller to resolve an issue.

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/buy/item-not-received.html#doesntmatch
At this point I'd say call ebay and explain to them that the seller signed for it 6 days ago and you have not heard
anything since and not been refunded. Cheap little $10 items might slip a person's mind, but not an amount over $1000.
Use the Help & Contact link at the top of the page and click your way through to a phone number and pass code.
Have all the transaction details and numbers in front of you when you call. And have patience, -- it can take a long time
to get through to someone.

Thanks dmill, and yes I added those images showing he listed the wrong size on Ebay when I emailed him.
And what does the idiot do, he relists the jacket with the wrong size AGAIN....LOL.
See here:
I also left him a negative feedback, maybe that will get his butt in gear:
I'm going to call Ebay first thing tomorrow morning
