One way is this: Open Microsoft Word on a new (blank) document.  Minimize that programme for the moment.

Open the Paypal page you need, and position the page (up/down/across) so that everything you want to include in the screen shot is visible on your screen.  If the information takes up more than the current screen, you'll have to do 2 or more screen shots.

Once you have the Paypal page positioned, press and hold "ALT", then press "Prt SC" (the "ALT" or "alt" button is at the bottom of the keyboard, to the left of the space bar; the "Prt sc" button is usually at far right on the very top row - make sure you don't have the capitals lock on, as the upper case on that key will be a different command).

Open Microsoft Word again, to the blank (new) document.  Put your cursor at top left (in the document itself), and press "CTRL" + "V" to paste in the screen shot.  A copy of what was on your Paypal screen should appear.

If you click inside the copied image, you can resize it as needed by "pulling" the corners.  You can also use the Microsoft picture toolbar to crop out anything you don't need/want to show on the screen shot.  You can add explanatory text below the screen shot if you wish.  Make sure you "SAVE" the Word document.

Sometimes I find that changing the orientation of the Word document to "landscape" helps to give more room for the screen shot, and allows it to be enlarged enough to be easily read.

If you need more of the Paypal screen, go back, scroll down, and repeat the above process to capture as many additional screen shots as required.  You'll probably need a new Word document for each screen shot.

You can also use Microsoft Paint to drop in the screen shot, but I prefer Word so I can add text easily.

By the way, I'm surprised the buyer can't see the refund confirmation by logging into their own Paypal account.  Perhaps they don't know where to look?

I hope this is of some help.

Use the key combination control, alt, printscreen...then paste into any image editing software like Irfan View. Crop to show the part you want and save the image.

If using Windows 7 there is a built in "sniping tool", go to the Start Menu and type in "snip".

The refund will go back to the credit card they used to pay, that's where they need to look to find it.
