I can't empty my cart of select items

I am having problems getting rid of items from my shopping cart. Can you help? A screen comes up and says, 'error', contact customer service which hasn't helped at all. Thank you.

Hello 'pick-teri',

Ebay is full of 'glitches' these days, -- far more people than usual reporting odd problems.  If you have tried deleting the items one-by-one and that fails, maybe try this:

Log out of ebay, go to your computer's cache and cookies (temporary internet files) and delete those.  Then restart your computer and see if that clears out the dust, so-to-speak.  

That's what I do when it shows me I have items in my cart but in fact it is empty.  Sort of the reverse of your situation, I suppose.  

If that is no help, maybe someone else around here will have a suggestion.

Does the problem persist today?

Were the items won at auction or purchased previously by accident? 

If you provide more specific information, we can suggest possibilities as to why this might have occurred.
