I have put in bids on items today, but I do not want to buy them now.  Can I cancel my bids for them?  How do I do it?  I also cannot sign out of the site, why?

There are very few reasons allowed for a bidder to retract her bid.

If your reason (I changed my mind) is not allowed, you can ask the seller to cancel your bid. He is not required to do so, however.
