Now if I recall,in the past I was able to check the Free Shipping option box in Search and the results would come back from listings with free shipping..Now when I do that, the list results come back with Free Shipping in green fonts but when I go to a individual listing..a shipping charge (not GSP) is there. This is on .com and .ca..So..what exactly is the reason for having this as a search option?..and why is it just getting harder and harder to find anything anymore??

Do the items have Free Shipping domestically, but not to Canada or overseas?

Yes they do..but if I remember correctly,in the past, those used to be filtered out.And I would be able to see the ones only that offered free shipping..

I had that same glitch for awhile too but it seems to have corrected itself, However, now one one computer i own i have the advanced search icon in the top right the same as alway's but on my lap top i can only access advanced search through the "followed" searches, some of which I only searched one time. I think it's just a few glitches they will get ironed out soon enough. You can use the advanced search and select only free shipping, that worked for me when i had that glitch.

Well..I tried the "advanced" search and still get the same results as if I checked the option on the left side.Oh well..maybe someday it will work. It's not like I am gonna buy anything here as I was just checking out some items for fun (the ones I could find)..I find that buying on here is too much of a hassle and takes too long to narrow down search terms to find an item.I get results without even any of my search words appearing in the listing title more and more now.Googling what I am looking for is my method now and I just eliminate ebay from the search results.But..Thankyou for all your advice..I was just curious if I was doing something wrong (been buying since '99)

sheepgal- Try Searching by Highest Price First.Or even Highest Price plus Shipping.
It is easier to drill down through dozens of listings that to slog through thousands of misdescribed, repetitive and trashy listings until you get to your budget point.
