Post disappeared?

Is it just me (i.e. do I need a holiday) or did the complete post from "whoscloset" re. setting up an off eBay site disappear?

It was a long-running post with plenty of replies.

That post was up for many months and IMO Monique made a very valuable contribution to us sellers.

Since one can have a link to a website in the "about me" page, I don't get it.

But then, as Pierre has pointed out, customers service has been going downhill for some time. See my post "support takes the cake for stupidity" 🙂

Even that is under scrutiny. A seller cannot offer a link to his/her website on the "about me" page if offering for sale items similar to those listed on eBay.

I know. eBay took my "about me" page down once for having a link to my website and offering the same "stuff" at lower price.

Btw. that post was pretty good, lots of resources in it. I cannot believe some junkie pulled it. On the other hand ... they probably had to. Thats why this forum is not really good medium to share goodies.

Because Monique's thread contained such great information I copied and saved her initial post plus a few after that with good information....just for future reference.

If anyone wants a copy of what I have I would be glad to send it.
