Problem with Canada Post Tracked Packet USA Service

I currently use the EST Desktop software and a Thermal Label Printer to ship Canada Post packages.
I came across an issue with Tracked Packet USA:
When using a Thermal Label Printer, the Address Line 2 and the Additional Info Line do not print on the label, but you can enter address information in that field. The software gives you the ability to use those lines even though they do not show on a label. This has caused a problem with a few of my packages.
I called Canada Post and they didn't know about this problem. They now know and said to just use the Company line field. This may work sometimes but sometimes I would need to use the company line and the Address Line 2 in which case I cannot use the service.
They said there won't be a fix until April, perhaps if more people complain they can fix it sooner.
There is also an issue if you use the Laser Printer instead of the thermal printer but I'm not sure which fields it affects
