On 21/08/14 I purchased and paid for an electric motor. The seller accepted payment and ws supposed to ship the item the following day. I contacted the seller on 1/9/14 to discover that the seller had in fact forgotten to ship my item. It is now past the delivery date and I have no way of finding out where my item is. What can I do?

What method was used to ship the item (Canada Post/FedEx/UPS/Grey Hound)?
Did the seller give you a tracking number?
Have you asked the seller for one?
Did you pay using paypal?
Then you have 45 days to file a claim for non-delivery. Deadline to file would be OCTOBER 3.

"What can I do?"
Contact the seller by phone and ask him how and when your item was sent.
