Seller does not respond

I bought an item off a seller on December 21st and paid the same day; I still haven't received it and I am worried. Since we both live in Canada, I did not think it would take that much time. I asked him to provide me the tracking number and he answered on the 27th that he will email it to me the next day which he never did. Furthermore, he is not answering my emails now and it's been almost three weeks I haven't received this item even though he told me it's been shipped. Advice?

Hi formertechno..  Not communicating doesn't help but to be fair , removing holidays/weekends , its been 8 business days,assuming seller rushed to get it mailed on the 22nd.

 

Were me , i would wait at least another week before contemplating a dispute. PayPal allows 45 days..

Hi

I do agree with heidilynn0_3 advice is to have patience when buying on ebay.

 

Sellers don't have full control on shipping.

When time is at near then send a last email (NICE one) to respond or you will file a claim with PP (PayPal).

 

Keep in mind don't let the 45 day time frame expire.

I suggest creating sub folders in your email's inbox called Due by eq 20130214 which might be 43 days after the purchase, give yourself 2 days less the limit. Do this for all items purchased. I gives you a quick check list.
