Selling Internationally

I am a new seller and have not offered international shipping.  Someone from Turkey has asked to purchase some items,  Has anyone have issues with shipping to Turkey?  Would 4 weeks be enough time for the package to arrive?  thanks

If you decide to ship internationally, only use AIR MAIL. You only have 45 days for the item to get to your customer. Surface is too slow.

Tell your customer the cost of shipping by AIR MAIL.  If he says it is too expensive, politely send your regrets that a deal is not possible and add his name to your Blocked Buyer List.

Do not allow him to cross his fingers and promise not to be mad. AIR MAIL. Seriously.

As for Turkey, it's not quite a First World country, but it's no worse for shipping than Italy or Russia. Depends on what you are selling. I wouldn't ship electronics there, but then I wouldn't ship electronics to the USA either. There has been some civil unrest there not long ago.
