Shipping Costs From the US...

Is it me of has shipping costs gotten crazy for items coming from the States?  I recently asked for a quote for shipping 3 magazines from Ohio.  The cost???  $19.  I thought that was outrageous so I checked the USPS website myself.  Sure enough it was $!9.  That's a little nuts.  What is going on with USPS???

LOL, the same that has been happening with Canadian post for quite some time. They started milking international to subsidize regulated domestic.

I've also noticed the increase in shipping rates, I collect movies and the shipping rates on dvds and videos have almost more than doubled. I'll be buying more from canadian sellers in the future.
