Just got back from the cabin in BC - been there since end of May. It is finally almost finished so next year I can concentrate on fishing. trouble is that now I am just about to old to enjoy it.
Anyway - just about to start listing again - anything new or exciting on eBay that I should know about.

Welcome back. I hope that you had a good summer.
You should probably read the fall update.

Some big changes:
PayPal 45 day limit for claims has been changed to 180 days.
eBay is going to a seller pays for return shipping for SNAD claims.
PayPal is being spun off from eBay over the next year or so.

Thanks and ouch:
I really don't like the seller has to pay the return shipping - so a buyer can purchase an item and really return it for any reason using the Not as Described reason.
It also seems to me that 180 days for a claim is way over the top.
I guess these topics have been discussed - it will look them up.
How is the Defect Rate thing going? I can't believe the thread I started earlier in the year has over 11 pages of comment - It will take me a while to read it.

eBay and Paypal will be split into two corporations ...in about one year from now.
eBay will get a new CEO.... Good-bye Donahoe
Look up Alibaba.... a new internet selling option... but very restrictive as to what can be sold there.... so far

Alibaba is based in mainland China. There was a two hour special on it on TV about a month ago - very interesting. As I remember they actually drove eBay out of China.
