Switching Stores

Hi all: I see some great feedback as to whether it might be best to switch from my .ca store to .com. Does anyone know how to go about doing that? Do I actually have to close one to open another or can you switch them some how?.

For what it's worth.I'm about to do the same thing.I was told by an ebay rep from customer outreach,that I needed to shut my Canadian store down and then re-open one at ebay.com I was informed that I would lose my store listings only..It has been reaffirmed by other store owners as well as the person I spoke to from ebay customer outreach that switching your store from ebay .ca to ebay.com will pay increased dividends.I as well was hoping there would be a way to do it w/o losing my current listings within my store.I guess not

Thanks for your input. I was hoping to avoid having to in put all the information again. Do you know if the charges are the same for a store on .com

They are the same but in US$ instead of CDN$. I did this and when I went to reopen on .com most of the info like categories, headers etc reappeared but not the listings.
