What happens if someone bids but doesn't pay? Should you block that person?

Hi .. If you have a non paying buyer , file an unpaid dispute to recover final value fee and buyer receives a strike against their account.

Do you have buyer requirements selected ie block 2+ non payers..

Add the buyer's ID to your blocked list.

Buyer has 4 days to pay otherwise close the dispute and then relist...

Hello 'northernboy',

Definitely send a reminder on by the end of day 3. The buyer has 4 days to pay after the end of the listing, but if no payment and no response to your reminder, file an Unpaid Item claim as soon as possible on day 4. Everything on ebay is 'to the minute', so you can set a clock for Hour 96 if you like. 😄

The buyer has a further 4 days to pay, after which you can close it and get your fees back. Then yes, absolutely add the person to your list of blocked bidders. Then set yourself up to block everyone with 2 or more Unpaid strikes because these folks tend to be repeat offenders.
