Hello. I'm an antiques/collectibles seller who researches my items before listing them. I'm finding that my searches on the .ca site often yield incomplete results. For example, see item # 261718945586, a Lefton/Holt cat wall pocket that is currently listed. If you do a worldwide search on .ca for "Lefton/Holt cat wall pocket" this listing doesn't come up, but if you do the same search on the .com site, it does. Does anyone know why this is? I don't see why I should have to go to the .com site every time I want to look for something. And, more importantly, if I'm not finding items, potential Cdn buyers may not be finding the items that I have listed either. Thanks, Laurie.

That item's auction page indicates shipping to United States and no other country is listed, so it's being filtered by default when searching ebay.ca. If you want to have such auctions appear in an ebay.ca search, you will need to append &LH_SubLocation=1&_fsradio2=%26LH_AvailTo%3D1&_saact=1 to the URL (copy, paste, and enter) that you had got earlier when searching. I don't see a clickable option to do the same thing.

I would imagine it is because that particular item is not set up to ship to Canada. When you look at it from the .ca site it clearly says the seller may not ship to Canada and it has no shipping info on the .com site to Canada. The default on search assumes that if you find the thingy you are looking for you are probably not going to be happy if you can not get it.
