Why doesn't the search filters to narrow the search work ?

Why when I tick off the narrow your search boxes such as color, price or brand don't work?  I have tried using it on different products, different times of the day on other people's computers etc. and nothing makes a difference.  It shows the same products whether I use the search filters or not.

What am I doing wrong ?  Does anyone have any ideas or tips to help with this problem ?

What category are you searching, specifically? Can you give a specific example? It might be a glitch, or it might be one of those categories where it takes a bit of tinkering to really find what you want using different filters. 

It might be that the photos you see are all look the same because those sellers have multi-variation listings of different colours and sizes all within one listing displayed with one photo only. Like a seller might have tshirts in sized xxs to xxxl in every colour of the rainbow as drop-down menu options for a single listing with variations and only one photo. 

Or is the problem something different, like you're trying to find only brown shoes in size 7 and are still getting results for sizes 2 through 12 in all colours?

Or is it that you're getting a hundred of the same picture of the same product with all the sellers from overseas?
