I would like to know why ebay does not enforce sellers who list warranty of their item and then not honour it ?
I've had an unresolved issue now for almost 2 weeks, i have report this seller to ebay with no email back, and the seller is still online selling tons of items that he is offering a 3 year warranty on but will no honour.

Is the seller offering his own warranty or is that the manufacturer's warranty?
If the latter have you tried contacting the manufacturer?

Warranty is backed by manufacturer or Canadian importer, not by seller. All consumer goods sold in Canada have minimum 1yr warranty.
If you purchased from abroad (e.g. from China), you are the importer and there is no warranty in Canada.
Ebay has jurisdiction over sale and return, but unofrtunately none over warranty disputes unless you purchase their own extended warranty, which is more of a risk management financial product than actual repair service.
