cancel order

Has the buyer paid for the purchase?

Has it been shipped already?

If you haven't shipped it, cancel it through eBay using buyer changed mind as a reason. It's pointless to send them an item they no longer want as they could then file an item not as described and you would have to pay for return shipping.

You can cancel the order using Buyer Changed Mind as the reason. You get your FVF back and no defect. This is fast. The buyer can leave feedback.

You can pursue an Unpaid Item Dispute. You get your FVF back and no defect. This is slow. You can't open it for four days after the purchase or close it for four days after that. The buyer can't leave feedback. (But if the buyer pays you have an unhappy buyer who can file a dispute and/or leave feedback).

Your choice.

They may be fishing for a better price. If you are inclined, you may inquire as to what price they found and then meet it but you would still have to Cancel their initial order, resisting it for them at the agreed price. But you are not obligated to price match. Unless you really felt the need to do so.

There is, however, no point to shipping an order the buyer has decided they don't want before they've even seen it.

Be sure to put this buyer on your block list so he/she cannot continue to buy anything from you at any time.
