An item I want to buy is on ebay.ca but is priced in $US, if I am in the same Canadian city as the item purchased/shipped why am I paying over $5 in exchange rate fees?
Example, Item=US$49.99 in Ottawa Ontario, I live/ordered in Ottawa Ontario.
Invoice amounts, Item $49.99 US
shipping $16.99
Total$66.98
exchange rate 0.92461 USD
Billed total $72.45 CAD
Who is pocketing over $5. and why
Is this an ebay/paypal scam?
