Try contacting the seller and ask them for a tracking number and carrier. If they don't have a tracking number, just get the carrier name from them, and you can contact the carrier from there.
Hope this helps.

Alex-- the seller would have no idea.
She just sends the purchase (usually by USPS) to Erlanger. The USPS tracking and the seller's responsibility for delivery ends there.
OP
Call your local Postal Outlet, and ask if your parcel is there. You may have to call the actual Post Office if it is not. Tell both the clerk at the outlet, and the postmaster at the Post Office the value and the contents of the parcel. Let them know that the duty and taxes have been paid.
If it is not there, with the Post Office, file a complaint that the item has been stolen. Get a number for the complaint. If the item was fairly valuable or easily fenced also complain to the police and get a report number there too.
The Post Office because that is who your carrier works for, not the outlet in back of Shopper's Drugs.
With those report numbers you have a decent chance of winning an Item Not Delivered Claim. The eBay Resolution Centre is at the bottom of this page.
You must note in the description of the Claim that this is a GSP item.
Letting the seller know what is going on is a courtesy. She has no responsibility for this kerfuffle.

I regret that I did not note the name of the member who provided this useful advice about GSP tracking.
TRACKING SYSTEM FOR GSP
It's not user friendly... But I found how to track your package via the global shipping program, once it gets to Canada you need to:
- Log on to eBay.ca
- Under the My eBay menu select Purchase History
- Under your orders find the specific order. It should have something like the following:
Estimated delivery Mon, Jan 11 - Thu, Jan 21
Tracking number: Tracking number UPAAB000000#########
- Click on the UPA number. This should open up a Shipment Details window, which should contain something like this:
This shipment has been transferred to CPC for delivery to the final destination # 70351#########
-Click on the Canada Post number to see where the Canada Post Tracking history and expected delivery

Aaaaah. Community mailbox ?
It may be in the hands of one of your neighbours.
The police report becomes more important now.
Or tape a notice to the side of the mailbox asking if anyone accidentally got your parcel and giving your contact, whatever contact you are comfortable with. Worth asking in any case.

Sorry. I thought about it right after I posted it, but had to leave my house immediately...

What is the item? Small items are delivered by Canada Post but Canpar seems to be the GSP's carrier of choice for larger ones.
