I want to buy a nexus tablet from a seller but i want to be sure that my purchase is covered in case something goes wrong.
Where do i have to look to see if i'm covered?

Claims for not received or not as described should always be filed by day 43 from payment date. Funding payment with a credit card is an added layer of protection with chargeback rights.

Hi....as hedilynn has posted a link for PPBP (PayPal Buyer Protection) that is protection for you "IF" you don't receive the item. "IF" you are asking about any warranties of the item here is some information that sellers must do on their listings, also click on the little arrows in Some Examples and additional information in the link below.

Do you mean covered by the manufacturer’s warranty?
Generally , you are not.
If the seller is a registered agent for the manufacturer, there would be no problem, but most are not.
If you wanted an Apple product, Henry’s is one eBay seller which is also an official Apple seller. There are probably others, but not many.
If you buy from overseas, the likelihood of being able to use the manufacturer’s guarantee becomes miniscule or less.
