import charges for US buyers

As a Canadian selling to the USA, do American customers have to pay customs fees?

If it's declared as merchandise, the duty-free threshold is $200. If the item is above $200, the CBP may assess duty -- there are exceptions.

If  the package is declared as a gift, the duty-free threshold is $100.

Just to be clear-- if you sold it to your customer, it is NOT a gift.

That is for that ugly Christmas sweater than dear Aunt Ida sends out annually because she loves you and has no taste.
