negative feedback for items described correctly

Occassionally I run across other seller negative feedbacks and I've always wondered why Ebay does not remove negatives where the buyer says "thought it was a book" and it states in the listing title it's a dvd.  Or in the knitting community I don't know how many people think they can buy a hand knit sweater in 3 different sizes for $3.00.  If it says pattern or book they should NOT be allowed to leave a negative for their stupidity yet I see so many that are on seller's feedbacks where it is quite obvious the buyer didn't read the title let alone the description.  When will Ebay realize that sellers CAN NOT control what buyers are thinking.  It's very unfair!!

Unfair it may be, but unless the feedback violates the inappropriate feedback comments policy it won't be removed.

that's just it, there should be a policy in place that states if the buyer does not know what they are doing they can not fault the seller.  We can't hold their hands in the buying process and it seems silly to email every buyer...."are you sure you read the description first" and have them quote back to you exactly what they thought they were buying....."  although that isn't really such a bad idea...I just had a person buy a book that clearly said it was an ex-library edition- luckily he emailed me before leaving feedback with the comment "looks like a library discard...LOL"  and I was able to respond that this is clearly marked in the description to which he responded..."oh, didn't read that" and had another person buy a game guide and immediately pay only to ask for a refund and cancel about an hour later because it didn't include the game.  I had already printed the shipping label and now I have to chase paypal for the money- by the way, has anyone ever gotten the credit automatically for voided labels?  I always have to call.  Now I list guides with NO GAME included in the title but then that means they have to actually READ the title too-which in most cases they don't even do that!!

You can always leave a suggest with ebay. There's a suggestion link in Customer Support.

Non paying buyers deserve unpaid item strikes.
