He goes to the Dispute and clicks on This matter has been resolved.
He pays his fees, you don't get a strike, he gets the money you sent and you get the item.

If its an unpaid item dispute that the seller opened and then ignores , eBay will auto close on day 37 from listing's end. A strike will not be given to you.
If its a transaction but you both have agreed not to complete , here is the link can forward..

Seller is the loser in both instances if he ignores so why are you concerned.

Hello 'veros',
If the seller does not settle the matter in a timely fashion he won't get his fees back. Hard to imagine when most of them fret over every penny. You say it's been more than 30 days, -- has it been more than 32?
If you have not paid and the both of you are fine with that, and you are worried about a sneak-attack Unpaid Item case showing up one day, a seller has only 32 days in which to file one of those. See Timing is important in the following link:

Otherwise, if the two of you just want to cancel, send heidilynn's link to the seller. Maybe do that in any case, - he obviously needs to know about it.
Good luck. 🙂
