I have purchased an item from a seller and the end of the standard Money Back Guarantee timelines is coming soon.
I found the following announcement that indicated that the Money Back Guarantee timelines were being extended as a result of the Canada Post strike but not by how much.

How long have they been extended?
Thanks for the tag @momcqueen!
Hi @eagle747400 - sorry to hear that your item hasn't arrived just yet! I'm certain it's on its way! Our sellers work very hard to get your items to you quickly, and when there's a delay it's frustrating all around.
As Mo relayed, the extension mentioned in the announcement applies to Item Not Received requests after they have been opened and escalated to eBay to review. Your coverage guidelines as a buyer have not been altered.
You still have 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date to open a request with the eBay Money Back Guarantee. I always recommend contacting the seller involved to alert them that it hasn't yet arrived - many times they can begin an inquiry from their end.
Ultimately, if that 30 day mark is close, you can open a request with the seller directly and they will work to get you a resolution. If the request needs to be escalated we would typically allow extra time for items going to or coming from Canada to arrive (because of the strike), and work with both of you after that time has passed.
Thanks!
