Wearing my buyer hat, I checked on tracking for an order and noticed that eBay was time travelling and predicting the future for my package. So I took a closer look.
1. The time stamp that ebay displays for Canada Post tracking forgets that CP headquarters is located in the Eastern Time zone and the time needs to be adjusted from GMT (a 5 hour time difference).
2. eBay tells me that the package shipped November 15, Canada Post says November 10. As a Seller that is sending the wrong message to the Buyer, who would wonder why it wasn't mailed earlier.
3. The delivery date differs, however as a Seller that does not bother me since eBay's Nov 27 versus CP's optimistic Nov 18 is managing the Buyer's expectations. Earlier delivery than expected arrival date is a good thing.

Hi @ypdc_dennis - this is very interesting, thank you for wearing both hats and giving me some input.
I'll get this sent over to the shipping folks and let them know. If they have any input to share I'll update it here!
