Any Problem Shipping to Turkey?

Have any of you shipped to Turkey? Any problems?

I have a request from what looks to be a trustworthy eBayer. I currently have Turkey blocked along with the rest of the Middle East, but it seems like a better place to do business than, oh, say, Syria.

If I do decide to include Turkey, is it possible to revise an existing listing?

I haven't shipped many items there but haven't had any problems with the ones that I did ship. You can send small packet air so that you will be covered by Canad Post if there is a problem.

Yes, you can revise as long as there are no bids and if the auction has more than 12 hours before it ends.

Yes, I nearly always use small packet air.  But for any country with a higher than normal probability of needing to claim, I'd rather avoid the hassle.

Have only shipped once to Turkey, again no problem.

I've now blocked Turkey and the Middle East. Of 5 transaction from different accounts, I've received two negatives, a paypal claim and another complaining over shipping time. Four out of five isn't a good introductory to selling to them.

I have shipped a few items there with no problems.  Middle East is no problem.   One INR claim from Israel.   Just sent my first ever item to Kuwait
