I am refunding a purchase that is marked as paid. How do I get my ebay fee returned?

Normally ebay fees are refunded when the transaction is cancelled but it has been paid, marked as paid,and I am now issuing a refund.  Being marked as paid there is no option to cancel the transaction.  How do I get a refund for the ebay fees on this transaction?

1. Refund payment

2. Send Mutual Cancellation request to buyer (he/ she should agree on it) from your Resolution Center

3. After case is closed, you will receive ebay fees back on your account.
