3 items monthly limit instead of 10

Hello eBay,

I am very new to selling here and was wondering about my monthly selling limits. After doing some research on the limits myself, I found that almost every source said that new eBay sellers have a 10 item limit. however, I only have 3 items that I can sell per month.

Thanks.

It's both number and value.

So if you can list 10 items the opening price (auction) or Fixed Price for all the items must not exceed the value you were given - possibly that $250 mentioned already.

So 10 items at $25 each.

Or one item for $250.

Or three items at $100, $75, and $75.

And yes, be careful that what you are selling is what you are picturing and describing.

If an unhappy buyer opens a Not As Described case, you will be paying for return shipping (international tracked return shipping is expensive!) and refunding.

You can have a No Returns policy, but not a No Refunds policy.

There are a couple things. The item limit is usually 10, but there is a dollar limit - Not sure what that is, exactly but based on your sale and current items I'm wondering if it's 250? you would be exceeding that. Also some categories have specific limits. You can do this:

You can always find your selling limit on Seller Hub, here's how:

  1. Go to the Overview tab of Seller Hub.
  2. Scroll down and find the Monthly limits section to view your current limit.

You are not communicating with ebay here.

You are posting on a members discussion board where members communicate with each other.

I am not sure about limits as it is several years since I sold anything.

However I believe they are based on a cash total not a quantity.

On an unrelated matter I do see a problem with your listings.

In both current listings you state "Box Not Included" however you show a picture of a box.

This is a violation as you are not supposed to show images of items that are not included.

It also looks to me like you are using Stock Images or images found online.

Stock images can only be used if you are selling new items.

When selling used items you are required to show photos of the actual item or items that the buyer will be receiving.
