Can we no longer set our own shipping rates on Ebay Canada with the new format?

We always got a discount using Canada post and would post that in the old format.  But I don't see that anywhere in this new format.  Thanks

You can set the general shipping policies under "Business Policies". You can pass along a discount to the counter price under your "Shipping Preferences" (go into your account and it's under "Selling")

Are you using Flat Rate Shipping or Calculated Shipping?

I tried changing my postal code on one of your listings, but got the same price for MB,ON, and BC, so I guess you are using Flat Rate?

In any case, when you use Calculated the customer is shown the counter rate. But you are charged the discounted rate on those services where it applies.

It doesn't apply to all services but since you can access Expedited, you do have a VentureOne/Solutions for Small Business number, I assume.

You can return to the "classic" sell your item form by clicking on the three dots at the top right of the form I am told.

My workaround has been to go to an existing listing, hit Sell Similar, and turn that into a template. The template will be the old form.

The difference in the discounted Canada Post rate is usually enough to cover packaging, and bubblewrap is not free.
