The selling process is different from what I used before. I have tried for hours but still no options are available for seller. I would like buyer to choose from everything offered by Canadapost for their choice of domestic, or
Overseas - USA, and other options. I am so fed up. Can I opt out of this and simply have them contact with their postal code and I will give costs for mailing.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
I am still lost - if shipped in Canada it has three options - domestic, USA, international non USA - and within gthose three are at least another 3 each. On top of that there are distance etc for each of the main choices.
Okay.
First unless you can use Letter Rates (under 2cm thick and under 500gr) you should be using Calculated Shipping.
So.
Go to-> Shipping details
Go to-> dropdown-> Calculated Shipping
Go to->Services-> dropdown and choose ONE service.
Go to-> International Shipping
Go to->Choose custom destination Go to->USA
Go to-> Choose services
Go to->Package weight and dimensions
Go to->Excluded Destinations
Go to-> Location.
Note the Fees that you will pay. If you chose any special features, the cost will show here and be non-refundable.
Go to-> LIST ITEM
Whew. Done.
It just struck me that you may have been defaulted into the Simplified selling form.
Look at the top right forCustomize.
That should take you to the Advanced/Business form.
DO NOT CLICK ON 'TRY THE NEW FORM!'
IT IS HORRIBLE AND SLOW AND NASTY AND SHOULD BE BURNED WITH FIRE.
Thank you for your suggestions but I am still lost - if shipped in Canada it has three options - domestic, USA, international non USA - and within gthose three are at least another 3 each. On top of that there are distance etc for each of the main choices. If I don't know in advance who will buy an item do I give the buyer multiple shipping costs. Can I opt for no shipping info on my listing and a request for buyer to send me his/her postal code and in return I will send them costs. What do other Cdn sellers do?
