Interesting. According to the InsurePost FAQ page, only Canada Post has been removed from its list of approved carriers, not Canada as a whole. But perhaps the Canadian operations of DHL, FedEx and UPS weren’t considered when that update was made as they’re not really options for most Canadian sellers.

I wonder if and how this will affect Shipsurance, as InsurePost is a division of that operation.

I wonder if too many people were putting in claims for small packet/non tracked packages??  But if that was the problem its odd that they would remove all Canada Post services.

Those were my thoughts, too, @pjcdn2005. I'm guessing that most Canadian InsurePost users were using the service just for mailing services that would be otherwise uninsurable through Canada Post, so for simplicity's sake, all of Canada Post's services were excluded.
