Buyers who don't pay get strikes on their account. If they get more than a small handful, they may be kicked off the platform or have their accounts restricted. Cancelled orders happens. It's annoying, but it's infinitely better than having a customer want to cancel an order AFTER you've shipped it because that'll probably result in a return.
