So here is my question ... how do I list any new items I post so that when a USA buyer clicks on my listing they see the shipping amount that corresponds to the Chit Chats rates? I always use calculated shipping and I am thinking that Chit Chat should be able to use my input information of size and weight in my listings ??? Or does it not use that information?
I understand that when I sell an item I have my store hooked up to Chit Chats to import the shipping information of size and weight there (I think?) but I don't see how the BUYER gets to see the shipping amount for each item as they browse through my items. That's the important part ... so I can attract more USA buyers.
The other question is: can I somehow using a bulk edit change ALL my items' shipping to USA prices for shipping as they view my items?
So confusing!
Thanks to whoever can help me sort this out!
In order to use calculated shipping for usps you would have to list on .com. But that would mean you were paid in $US so your funds would have to be converted before being put into your bank account. 0
If you continue to use Canada Post, you might want to consider using small packet US for many of your packages. Small packet comes with a UR number under the scan code and if you enter that number yourself in the tracking area on eBay the package will likely be scanned once the usps has the package. That isn't a guarantee as it really isn't a tracked service but it does seem to work most of the time. The 'tracking' will only show on ebay, not on the postal sites. Small packet still isn't as inexpensive as usps first class but it is less than Tracked Packet.
I realize that everyone has different comfort levels but I wouldn't worry about tracking on items under $20 so even if the packge isn't scanned, that usually isn't a problem. You might also want to consider using lettermail within Canada on your packages under 2cm thick.
