Hi Everyone ...Not sure if this is the place to ask this question but I am looking for an identification on this object. I have searched everything I can think of and can't find another. It looks like it would have hung on a wall..as the back side of the base is flat
Any help would be apprectiated

With some very creative googling and help from a friend turns out it is a Dutch whale oil lamp. Awesome find. Best of luck!!!
