How long do you have to pay for a bid you have won

Someone bought an item from me on July 19th and I have not gotten a payment from them what is the most time I should be waiting for a payment?

The earliest you can file the dispute is after 4 days, - how long, well that's up to you.  It seems every now and then a seller doesn't bother to file at all, which is weird because sellers will have to pay fees.  For most, however, they're setting their wrist watches to count down to hour 96.

It is nice to send a pleasant reminder before launching the Unpaid dispute.  Most do that at the end of day 3, - and file at the end of day 4.  Leb's link will tell you how it goes officially.  Then, you can close it 4 days after that and relist.  So at the very least your item will be tied up for 8 days if the person does not pay.

Once closed, you get your fees back, no one leaves feedback, and you can add the nonpayer to your list of blocked bidders here:

And if you have not already done so, block anyone with 2 or more unpaid strikes because they tend to be repeat offenders:
