EBay usually doesn't hold back listings for more than the 24 hours they warn us about, but you are a new seller.
Do you have your Managed Payments account set up so you can get paid?
Are you selling something in a high value or high fraud category?
It's generally considered a good idea to do a little buying, even of low value things like sportscards or books or socks to get an idea of the customer experience here. And then to start by selling things that are low in cost, because you WILL make mistakes.
As of 11:11pm PDT your listing still was not showing.
