Just a circle of commands to waste the users time .

Why not just state
“COVID HAS MADE US 100% automated so you will not be able to do proper business .
You will not get simple answers you are now a computer human” and must not complete life if you can’t reset your breath”

The phone reps don't work for eBay but for a sub-contractor based in Utah. They are undertrained, have little or no authority, and basically want to fill their daily quota and get a pee break. They will agree with anything to get you off the phone.

EBay employees cover the three social media Chats (terrible word- rebooting a computer) that you have been given.

They are well trained, have some authority and give you a transcript so you can review and see if what you were told matches what you think you were told.

And if you are wrong, they will disagree with you.
