UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Buyer opened a return case on June 29th (I accepted the return, in fact I insisted on it, buyer was tring to extort a partial refund)

I purchased and sent the buyer a return label (Canada Post) on June 30th.

 

This was my first time issuing a return label, so I contacted Customer help chat, in order to make sure that I had done it correctly. 

I received an email response from ebay concierge Nica B. that everything was indeed in order (Sending you the Assurance of your Seller Protection on this Return Request! Check here SR# 1-445105560580).

 

Not (wisely) trusting ebay one bit, I contacted ebay several more times for assurances:

All customer reps assured me that everything was in order and to just sit back and wait for the return.

 

Ebay escalated the case on July 7th and then put the case on hold until July 11 (not sure why).

I checked back with ebay on July 11th, only to be told that the hold had been cancelled and the case will automatically close in my favor on July 22 if the item has still not been received.

 

Next day, July 12th, I receive an email from ebay stating that the case has been closed in favor of the buyer (who hasn't shipped anything yet).

 

The reason?

Ebay claims that I have not responded to the case??????

 

WHAT THE #@&* IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE??????

Nothing but a bunch of liars and clowns!!!!

 

If this doesn't get completely fixed, I will be suing ebay....

Almost the same thing happened to me. They HATE their sellers. They treat us like garbage. I'd happily be involved with your lawsuit.
