Why am I not able to list a US made World War 2 M1 grande Bayonet from Canada and sell to US and worldwide? I have sold numerous in previous years - however now it is saying its a violation, and I can only sell within Canada (domestic) Has the policies changed and if so I can't find any specific threads stating as such. I realize you cannot sell weapons that are illegal , (switchblades, gravity knives, etc) but this is an antiquated bayonet. - historical piece. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Did you find a solution? I just listed a WWII bayonet - it's unclear can I ship it to the US, or not. I contacted Canada Post, but thy were not very helpful.
Since the original post is three and a half years old, it's pretty unlikely the poster is going to get back to you on this and the thread is likely going to be closed by a board moderator pretty quick.
Don't confuse Canada Post shipping restrictions with eBay selling restrictions. They're sometimes quite different things. In a nutshell, eBay's automated listing cop bot tends to frown on anything that can be potentially weaponized, including antiques. Their "legality" has little to do with it, unfortunately.
