Ebay should collect sales taxes on sellers who sell over $30000 CAD per year and not for those who sell for less.

If you got the email from eBay with this new information, they state "Please note that these changes will affect most e-commerce companies that operate in Canada. "
They also say
Additional information about the federal measures can be found at the CRA site or by calling their hotline: Then a link to call CRA directly.
I suggest calling CRA or something. In the future don't vote for politicians who openly say they're going to tax you more.
