Been messaging a potentail buyer for the car who seems very keen. Has offered slightly more than reserve (which is not public knowledge) in cash to collect tonight. If I accept the offer what happens to the auction, can I just withdraw? Thanks
Whoops just realised I'm on the Canada Pages - Not sure how that happened as I'm in the UK
Hi, not much time passed, but I wonder if you managed to sell your car through that auction? I have always had an idea that the seller may incur considerable losses by this type of sale. Just because the car is not some rare peace of art, and you cannot inflate the price endlessly. So maybe you could check here and offer your car for sale too? They sell used car and people willingly buy it thru extra financing. But if the auction was a success, please let me know. Will try to try it too.
How long does the auction have to run?
Do you have other bids?
Most auctions get bids only in the last few seconds.
Has he bid at all?
Taking a listing off eBay, can mean that eBay charges you fees regardless.
And.
What's his hurry? The auction lasts seven days and unless he lives in the same town, he won't be able to pick up immediately anyway.
