why can a fraudulent seller keep selling?

So - I ordered a antique medical supply package from a seller in the USA.  It never came.  He never answered one single contact I tried to make.  He apparently decided I was not important enough to worry about.

Then, out of nowhere he sends me a note "your item was shipped - I am so sorry I will double check my inventory"

If you do not know that I have been hounding you for 6 weeks and then you have the audacity to ask me "which item?"

I complain to e-Bay, I leave feedback and it disappears and he is still out there selling his little "eccentric" items and I received my money back for the purchase cost but not a single apology nor a admittance of any type of ownership.

Why did my feedback magically disappear?  Why can he still receive all his little stars?

I am sorry for the outrage but I have been ripped off and in North America (for this instance) and for the rip-offs overseas........I found the seller by going become a member on some China Business Forum - it was my wedding dress for the love of pete and I find my seller has set the worlds record for longest train for his bride - I only need about 6 feet (share people 🙂

The feedback may have been removed if you mentioned that there was a Dispute involved.

At least you were smart enough to file the Dispute and get your money back. This is a black mark on his seller's record and 'enough' of those and his membership may be terminated.

In addition to feedback, which is most effective if calm and factual, I hope you also left appropriate Detailed Seller Ratings. These are even more important than feedback in evaluating sellers.

Low feedback, poor DSRs and buyer complaints can mean a loss of certain discounts and remove certain privileges. For example, the seller may be paying 20% more than his competitors to list and sell, or may no longer be invited to use free listing promotions.
