how do i get from ebay.ca back to my regular ebay homepage (usa) ??

You can get back to American ebay by logging into ebay.com.

You can click on the four-color

ebay

logo at the top left corner of any page, any site, on eBay.

This takes you to the first page of any site on eBay.

Go to the bottom right of this page

and click on  flag and country where it says eBay sites.

This is a list of each country where eBay is present......  flag plus country name.

For eBay.com...... it is the ......Stars and Stripes flag..... United States
